President Trump Orders

U.S. to Withdraw from 66 Global Organizations

According to a White House statement, Trump’s Jan. 7 executive order directs “all Executive Departments and Agencies to cease participating in and funding 35 non-United Nations (UN) organizations (NGO’s) and 31 UN entities that operate contrary to U.S. national interests, security, economic prosperity, or sovereignty.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the administration determined many of the targeted bodies were redundant, mismanaged, ideologically captured, or outright hostile to American interests.

Rubio stated, “These institutions are often wasteful, poorly run, and increasingly dominated by progressive ideology detached from national sovereignty. It is no longer acceptable to send the blood, sweat, and treasure of the American people to organizations that undermine our freedoms and prosperity.” Rubio added that the era of billions of taxpayer dollars flowing overseas with little accountability is over.

This is the greatest step towards U.S. sovereignty is decades. The U.N. organizations, conventions and treaties and NGO’s (Non-Governmental Organizations) compromised American sovereignty and independence, undermined American values while American taxpayers paid for the destruction of our nation.

The U.S. has stopped funding and has now withdrawn from such global Initiatives as the UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change UNFCCC. No more destruction of our economy and freedoms by the Climate Change hoax.

U.S. support of DEI, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion mandates on gender issues adopted and promoted by NGO’s has ended. The initiatives on ESG “Environmental, Social Governance” on climate issues also adopted by big businesses have been broken.

Over the past several years, however, members have begun to exit organizations such as Net Zero amid a conservative backlash and allegations of conflicts of interest and collusion. Much of this backlash occurred in conservative U.S. states, where Republican lawmakers, treasurers, and attorneys general launched boycotts and antitrust investigations of banks and fund managers accused of colluding against oil, gas, and coal companies and of violating their fiduciary duties to investors. 

Vanguard quit Net Zero Asset Managers in 2022, and BlackRock quit in January 2025, after which the initiative announced it was suspending activities. In 2023, half of the Net Zero Insurance Alliance’s members quit en masse, facing risks of antitrust prosecution.

“These organizations are part of the same global NGO complex that advances a discredited ‘End of History’ worldview,” Rubio said, linking them to elite multilateral networks already being dismantled through cuts and closures, including the shuttering of parts of United States Agency for International Development.

Other non-U.N. organizations which the U.S. has pulled out of include the 24/7 Carbon-Free Energy Compact and the Commission for Environmental Cooperation, which have been criticized by conservatives as vehicles for climate policy overreach.

U.S. foreign policy under Trump will no longer subsidize institutions that erode American sovereignty or advance ideological agendas at odds with the national interest. Administration officials say the move will free up resources to focus on domestic priorities while restoring clarity about who governs the United States — the American people, not unelected global bureaucrats.

The decision follows Trump’s earlier withdrawal from the UN Human Rights Council in February 2025. Trump said the council had “failed to fulfill its purpose”. The Council included such human rights violators as Iran and China.

For years many patriots have worked to Get the US out of the UN. This is a tremendous beginning withdrawing from so many anti-American, UN and NGO’s that harm our families, our freedoms, our economy and American sovereignty.

Cash Cut-Off Has Globalist Deep State Panicking– Alex Newman

Journalist Alex Newman, author of the popular book “Deep State” (which is soon to be massively updated and re-released), thinks evil powers trying to overthrow America are distraught because their money and plans are drying up.  Newman says, “I think the globalist Deep State is in panic mode, and I think the Left is as well.

The operation against Maduro sent a massive shock wave through the global Left.  I see the global Left as a tentacle of the global Deep State.  It runs right through Venezuela, and it runs right through Minneapolis.  Let’s not forget what happened in 2020. . .. The so-called uprising was organized by Rockefeller front groups, and these are paid professional revolutionaries.  Yes, they are useful idiots . . . but they have huge money at their disposal.”

In late November, Newman warned “Leftist Marxists Preparing Now to Take Over America.” (This was in our last newsletter). Then, Venezuela President Nicholas Maduro was arrested, and that threw a cold bucket of water on those plans.  Newman points out, “Venezuela was the cash cow that was funding this entire subversive movement through drugs and oil.  Donald Trump, in one fell swoop, took out that massive piece of their architecture, and they are pooping bricks.  They are absolutely terrified about what may come next.”

We already know the payments in the so-called Somali welfare fraud have been cut off by the federal government.  Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is also cutting off billions of dollars of more fraud by changing money transfer rules.  On top of that, Newman says Trump has given a huge blow to the globalist UN climate treaty that also is cutting off big money.  Newman says, “The UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), this is the foundation of the UN climate regime and Donald Trump just utterly obliterated it.  This is some of the best news we have heard in a very long time.  The UN is very mad, and their chief spokesman is saying the US has a legal obligation to keep paying them.”  That is not going to happen, which means more cash cut from evil people trying to destroy America.  Newman adds, “This is just the beginning, and they have done a yearlong review of UN agencies that are useless, anti-American and wasteful.  The first 66 just dropped, and we expect more.  This is Earth shattering news.  This is huge news and really significant.”

The other really significant thing about Venezuela is the voter fraud that has rigged elections in the Western hemisphere for many years.  Newman says, “In Caracas, with Cuban help, they created lots of tools to steal elections.  It was not just in Latin America but here in the United States.  There are a lot of people in the Trump Administration who know about this.  I think this was one of the big things on Trump’s mind when he started thinking about what do we do with Venezuela?  We have had multiple whistleblowers come out and confirm almost all of this involvement in voter fraud.  The big take away here is . . . they created software to rig and steal elections in Latin America and here in the United States, and the Trump Administration knows about it.”

What’s Behind Trump’s Venezuela Raid?

I have read at least a dozen articles on Trump’s Maduro/Venezuela raid trying to understand the critical issues. As I said before, it had little to do with drugs although that is a good side benefit. 

In last month’s newsletter I included an article by Alex Newman “Leftist Marxist Preparing Now to Take Over America.” Venezuela had become a base of operations for the Russian military along with Cuba. This would enable Russia to strike Washington D.C. in minutes with missiles. It would also provide Russia a bargaining chip regarding Ukraine. One of the reasons Russia invaded Ukraine was to stop any NATO nukes from being placed in Ukraine just 5 minutes from Moscow.

Martin Armstrong compares the Trump Venezuela action with President John F. Kennedy’s action in 1962 regarding the Cuban Missile Crisis where Kennedy insisted that Soviet missiles be removed from Cuba. By taking action President Trump was protecting our nation from being under threat of Russian missiles from Venezuela…essentially a new Cuban Missile Crisis. Trump’s action in Venezuela was certainly a warning to Russia and Cuba. Cuba received much of their support including oil from Venezuela. (Martin Armstrong is a geopolitical expert and has even been called upon by the Trump White House to write a peace proposal for Ukraine.)

Were Trump’s actions in Venezuela lawful? This is an important question for those of us who believe in the rule of law. Darrell Castle, my friend, a lawyer and former Presidential candidate for the Constitution Party wrote in his recent article about Trump and the Monroe Doctrine, “In my opinion it was clearly legal if US law is the judge. The 1973 War Powers Resolution allows the president to deploy military forces; however, he chooses without prior approval of congress if he decides it’s in the national security interest of the United States.” Wow! That wasn’t what I was expecting to hear. Certainly, it does appear that Venezuela is definitely a national security issue.

“Russian officials have made multiple threats about deploying missiles to Cuba and Venezuela, particularly in recent months. Most notably, in late October 2025, Alexei Zhuravlyov, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s State Duma Defense Committee, stated that Moscow could deliver nuclear-capable missiles to Venezuela or Cuba, calling the United States Russia’s ‘main geopolitical adversary’ and declaring it an ‘enemy,’” Martin Armstrong

Armstrong continued, “More recently, in November 2025, Zhuravlyov told Russian media there were ‘no obstacles’ to providing Venezuela with the Oreshnik or Kalibr missiles, noting that Russia supplies Venezuela with weapons ranging from small arms to aviation. The threats specifically invokes the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. The concern is particularly acute with the Oreshnik missile, which travels at Mach 10, has a range of 3.400 miles and could potentially strike US targets in under five minutes if launched from Venezuela, compared to the 15-minute warning time during the original Cuban crisis.”

“Trump is playing chess with Putin. This move is to prevent Putin from dragging in the US to help stop the insanity of the European Union and NATO (in Ukraine). If Trump does NOT exit NATO, then missiles in Cuba and or Venezuela would be checkmate,” Armstrong. www.armstrongeconomics.com 

China, Russia, the U.S. and Venezuelan Oil

After capturing Maduro President Trump said the U.S. laid claim to all Venezuelan oil. The oil infrastructure under Maduro has significantly deteriorated. Some estimate it could take up to 10 years to bring it back to full operation.

China began an economic relationship with Venezuela in 2006. Over the years China loaned Venezuela Billions. Venezuela owes China at least $20 billion in loans established before 2017. The arrangement was for Venezuela to pay China in oil, but with the deteriorating infrastructure the return on China’s loans has been diminished. China has been the largest buyer of Venezuelan oil, taking most of it to repay loans. Oil from Venezuela represents 4-7% of China’s oil imports.

On January 12, 2026 “Russia's state-owned company Roszarubezhneft, which manages Russian oil assets in Venezuela, has said that it will not leave the country, despite United States President Donald Trump claiming the US will take control of Venezuela's oil exports. Roszarubezhneft said that ‘the company will continue to consistently fulfill its commitments in close coordination with its international partners…’ The company also said that all its assets were acquired on market terms, are owned by the Russian state and that it intends, together with Venezuela, "to implement joint projects and expand industrial and technological co-operation…” (Moscow Times)

The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump wants to cut oil prices to US $50 a barrel. His administration is preparing a far-reaching plan aimed at establishing long-term control over Venezuela's oil sector. US officials are also weighing steps to block Russia and China from Venezuela's energy sector while increasing Washington's influence over global oil supplies.
