I will not try to unravel or even update you with all the details of the War in Israel. By the time you receive this it could all be very out of date. I will share with you my Cliff Notes from Jonathan Cahn.
Jonathan Cahn is a Messianic Jew who wrote the book The Harbinger and many others. I have been very impressed with his books. He explains better than anyone else, I have found, the connections between the Bible and what is going on in the world right now. One of his latest videos helps to explain the war between Israel and Hamas. I highly recommend listening. It’s just 31 minutes.
Here are a few insights from his video: Hamas struck Israel on one of the holiest days of rejoicing, Simchat Torah, on the Hebrew Calendar, our October 7th. Rome destroyed Israel in 70 AD, and then renamed Israel after their enemies the Philistines, now known as Palestine.
The world including the U.S. has given billions of dollars to Gaza which Hamas has used against Israel. The attack on Oct 7th has been compared to our 9/11.
In Psalm 55 the word “violence” in ancient Hebrew means violence evil, wrong, destruction of Israel. In modern Arabic the same word which in both languages is “hamas” means zeal, fervor, fire and fanaticism.
Psalm 83 says, “Come and let us cut (wipe) them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.”
Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 and 39 identify the nations in the ancient world opposing Israel. They include the modern Philistia (Gaza), Tyre (Lebanon headquarters of Hezbola), Assyria (Syria), Turkey, Iran (the chief funder of Hamas and Hezbola which was Persia). Cush (Sudan) and Libya,
The 50th year parallels or repeats what happened in the 50th year before and is particularly connected to Israel but also to the whole world. 2023 was the 50th anniversary of the 1973 Yom Kippur War which was a surprise attack, a massive ground invasion on Israeli soil just like in 2023. Both of these happened on the first Sabbath of October on a holy day 50 years apart.
I encourage you to listen to Jonathan Cahn’s video and to read his books to gain a greater understanding of the connections between the Bible and what is going on right now in the U.S. and the world. Jonathan Cahn reminds us to pray for Israel and also the cousins of Israel the Arabs. And most importantly he says, we will only find peace through the Messiah-Jesus Christ.

Mayflower Compact
2020, the 400th Anniversary of America’s First Document of Freedom
The Mayflower Compact established the first “local government” in America. It organized the colonists into a “civil body politic” creating authority for “just and equal laws” which would be most useful and “convenient”.
“John Robinson, the pastor of the Separatist congregation to which many of the Pilgrims belonged, advised them that since they were ‘not furnished with any persons of special eminency above the rest’ they would need to make prudent decisions when choosing leaders. Robinson counseled the Pilgrims to choose as leaders those who ‘diligently promote the common good,’ and not to begrudge ‘in them the ordinariness of their persons, but God’s ordinance for your good.’”
“Published in 1622, Mourt’s Relation, which details the beginnings of Plymouth, continues on to say that under this agreement the colonists would ‘submit to such government and governors as we should by common consent agree to make and choose.’”
Mayflower Compact

Local Government by the Consent of the Governed has been Destroyed
As Americans our heritage provides for local government, by common consent. Our founding fathers who established the Constitution of the United States provided us with a Constitution which was designed to strictly limit the power of the Federal Government. Two amendments to the Constitution destroyed the separation of powers between the Federal Government and the States and have led to States and local governments becoming vassals of the Federal Government through the power of the purse…massive grants which now control the States, counties, cities and school districts.
The Sixteenth Amendment which instituted direct taxation of the people (income tax) in violation of the U.S. Constitution Article 1 Section 9 clause 4, “No Capitation (a direct tax imposed on each person), or other direct, Tax shall be laid unless in proportion to the Census or Enumeration herein before directed to be taken.” In other words, apportioned by population among the states. And…
The Seventeenth Amendment which provided for the election of U.S. Senators directly by the people instead of by the State Legislatures eliminated the representation of the State governments as a balance to Federal Power. Thus ended effectively the balancing of the jealous powers between the States and the Federal Government, and a critical construct of limiting the Federal Government.
He who has the gold (the money) makes the rules and through federal grants all State and local governments as well as the people have become vassals (servants, serfs, slaves and subordinates) of the Federal Government Monstrosity.
The Economy, Debt, Inflation, De-Dollarization and War
“The first panacea of a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring temporary prosperity; both bring permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political opportunists.” Ernest Hemingway
I am not particularly an admirer of Hemingway, but in this quote he is correct. However, I would not call the perpetrators of inflation and war political “opportunist” but criminal conspirators and traitors. Our nation and us individually are faced with the vicious circle of all debt soaked nations like the U.S.
“Eventually a choice will have to be made between saving the system (of which sovereign bonds are the foundation--U.S. Treasury notes) or sacrificing the currency”--the dollar. What this means is that we can expect more inflation and the private Federal Reserve Bank will continue to “print” more dollars to rescue the government Treasury Bonds (which are the financial power of the Federal Government, meaning more debt and further loss of the value of the dollar.)
This month, China sold the most U.S. Treasuries in 4 years, dumping $21.2 billion in U.S. stocks and Treasuries, according to the U.S. Treasury. Chinese investors sold an all time record high of $5.1 billion in U.S. stocks. Why does it matter? China has been the largest buyer of U.S. Treasury bonds which are used to finance the U.S. government. The second largest is Japan whose holding of U.S. Treasuries have declined to the lowest level on record. Together China and Japan hold roughly a quarter of all U.S. debt held abroad. The bond market is in serious trouble and it is many times larger than the stock market.
What will be the result? Just what the Federal Government has been doing…taking us to war.

From Zero Hedge: “The Biden administration ran a $1.695 trillion budget deficit in fiscal 2023. It was the third-largest deficit in US history. The only time the US government ran bigger deficits was during the COVID years of 2020 and 2021. The government closed out the year with a $170.98 billion deficit in September, according to the final Monthly Treasury Statement of the fiscal year. That was more than double the projection.
“The Biden administration already wants more money. The president recently proposed a $100 billion aid package for Israel, Ukraine and other ‘national security’ priorities. Meanwhile, the national debt blew past $33 trillion on Sept. 15. Just 20 days later, it pushed about $33.5 trillion. In other words, the Biden administration added half a trillion dollars to the debt in just 20 days.

The entire world is catching on. The BRICS+ nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, plus 6 new countries Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates) are making steady moves towards de-dollarization. That means getting rid of the U.S. dollar as the international currency, with devastating economic consequences to Americans.
I wish I could recommend simple answers for you and your family for this coming debacle of inflation, de-dollarization and war. There are no easy answers. The Uni-Party Sabotaged Jordan

In the backdrop of the controversies about who is to be voted Speaker of the House of Representatives is the awareness that this role is third in line for the presidency. The Uni-Party decided some years ago never to allow another “populist” - meaning someone who actually responds to the public in reality and not just in rhetoric - near the center of power.
Thomas Massie of Kentucky, one of the few national politicians with real backbone combined with high intelligence, has the highest respect for Jordan. “I’ve taken thousands of votes during my time in Congress. No roll call has been as clarifying as the one for Jim Jordan as Speaker. Why isn’t his election easy here? Because his leadership represents a credible threat to the unchecked growth of our bloated federal government.”
What (Jordan) is in fact is the best investigator of deep-state machinations, a fierce debater, and a dedicated opponent of corruption and big government on all fronts. And this is precisely why certain powers-that-be in Washington, D.C. were absolutely dedicated to making sure that he could not get this close to the center of power. The urgency these days to keep the racket going and keep rebels at bay has become extremely intense.
The administrative state that has long run Washington, D.C. has two main branches, the old civilian bureaucracy that presumes as a matter of course that it is really in charge of the country, plus a deeper layer of the intelligence community that knows for sure that it is the real power running the nation.
The election of Jim Jordan as speaker of the House is part of that grand struggle, one of many more to come in the years ahead. This is why there are so many people determined to stop it from happening.
